The Minnesota Office for Soil Health (MOSH), with funding and support from the Minnesota Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR), awarded grants to four Soil and Water Conservation Districts to establish and support demonstration sites of soil health management practices. The purpose is to encourage conservationists and agronomists to help local farmers figure out how to implement soil health practices in their operations by creating opportunities for farmer-to-farmer learning, showing how soil health practices work in their area, and potentially taking on agronomic risks that producers may not feel comfortable doing.
